The Dublin Public Library will be hosting its kickoff event for Summer Reading Club at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18 with a ribbon cutting and open house to showcase the newly renovated interior, funded by Tocker Foundation, the city of Dublin and STAR Council.
In partnership with STAR Council, the library will have a ribbon cutting, games, prizes and community organizations to promote resources and summer activities.
Erath County Agrilife Extension Agents will be here to answer questions about gardening and healthy food resources and Army Corps of Engineers from Proctor Lake will be here highlighting water safety.
“Adventure Begins at Your Library” is this year’s theme and reading logs can be picked up at the library starting May 18 and can be returned July 2 through July 20, with the final day to return logs being July 20.
