Do you have school spirit? We do! And this year’s Dublin Reunion will be accompanied by a plethora of additional events including the Dublin Irish Stampede Run.
Saturday, June 8 will kick off with the Dublin Irish Stampede 10K-5K-2K Run hosted by the Dublin Lions Club. Participation in either the 10K or 5K runs are $35 through Friday, May 31 and $15 for the 2K run.
T-shirts are guaranteed for early registration only. After June 1, prices increase by $5 each.
The run is being held in conjunction with Dublin’s celebration of National Dairy Month.
On race day, registration is from 6 – 7:15 a.m. beside the Dublin Public Library with the 10K/5K starting at 7:30 a.m. followed by the 2K start.
Early packet pick up will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, June 7 at Dublin Public Library.
Cash prizes and awards will be available for the top three (both male and female) overall winners.
Age groups are 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 3039, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
Proceeds will go to support the activities of the Dublin Lions Club throughout the coming year. An example of how the Lions Club helps includes sending physically challenged and diabetic children, at no charge, to week long Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville, Ice Cream Float Party for over 450 kids and camp, and work with elementary students to reveal undetected eye problems.

Also on June 8, the annual Hearts & Home Dublin Area Reunion will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Station Community Building located on North Patrick between Dairy Queen and First National Bank.
The event is sponsored by First National Bank and everyone is welcome at the event regardless of being a resident, native or someone who just loves Dublin.

At 10:30 a.m. there will be a School Spirit Parade hosted by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. Parade line up will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Elementary School Football Field.

Registration for the parade is free and all classes are encouraged to put together floats to participate in this year’s parade.
The parade route will be the common town parade route down Patrick and Blackjack Streets.
At 11:30 a.m. there will also be a Car Show on Elm Street and Grafton Street sponsored by Croell Concrete.
Vendors will also be available starting at 12:30 p.m. and the chamber is still seeking vendors for the event. Vendors can register online at dublintxchamber. com.
Things Celtic will also be having live music by Christine Anderson inside the store with 10% off items.
