Lilly G Arena is presenting a day of fun activities and a change to help Erath’s four-legged friends Saturday as they host the Vevin Vest Memorial BBQ Cook-Off.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Erath County Humane Society.
Gates will open at 10 a.m. at the Nozy Nabor Park at Lilly G Ranch (14955 N. FM219 in Dublin).
Daytime activities will include bull riding, vendors, concessions, pet adoptions, a trail ride and live entertainment and a dance.
Registration will open at 8 a.m. for the 8-mile trail ride, which extends from the Dublin City Park down FM219 to Nozy Nabor Park.
A $20 fee will grant guests entrance to the ride, daytime activities and the dance.
Live entertainment will include Tori Smith, Grace Kelly and more throughout the day with Jaci Davis at 7 p.m. and Mark Scott and the Southern Comfort Band at 8 p.m. (with a $10 admission).
