Erath County officials reported that the county had 265 active cases of COVID-19 in its Thursday night report. This compares to an active case load of 257 reported last Thursday.
The county report also showed that hospitalizations had risen from 14 at the end of last week to 18.

In response to the rising numbers, Comanche County Medical Center has added a second weekday to vaccination appointment schedule at the doctors medical center (10201 TX-16). CCMC also reported that its affiliate in Dublin, Dublin Family Medicine is administering the two-dose Moderna vaccine by appointment.
