Tiny Treasures Art in Miniatures reception now open
Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council has opened its new exhibit 'Tiny Treasures Art in Miniatures' Aug. 12 through Aug. 29 at its Gallery on the Square in downtown Stephenville.
The artist reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21.
The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All exhibits are free.
The gallery is located at 148 W. College St. in Stephenville.
Canines & Coffee set for Sept. 6
Erath County Humane Society will be hosting its 2nd annual Canines & Coffee 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 6 at the shelter.
There will be vendors, games for the kids, bouncy house and live music along with TikTok Influencer Nick Luciano.
It will be held in the field next to the shelter and serves as a fundraiser for the new building.
Cross Timbers Legacy offers free rock painting social
A free Rock Painting Social will be offered at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28 at the Cross Timbers Legacy Center in Stephenville.
All materials will be provided - all participants need is the ability to relax, have a good time and be creative.
The social is open to adults of all ages and The Legacy is located at 830 S. Graham Ave. in Stephenville. For more information call 254- 918-1288.
Grape Stomp to be held this Saturday
Lucky Vines is hosting its annual Grape Stomp party Saturday, Aug. 23 from 2-7 p.m.
Tickets are $25 per person and include a commemorative t-shirt, a grape stomp ticket, a glass of wine upon arrival and a raffle ticket with a chance to win exciting prizes!
