CTFAC hosts 'Under the July Sky'
Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council is currently hosting a new gallery exhibit 'Under the July Sky' by artist Jo Ann Schulze.
The exhibit will be open through July 31.
The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and closed Sunday and Monday.
Admission is free and the gallery is located at 148 West College St. in downtown Stephenville.
City of Stephenville to host Citizens Academy
The city of Stephenville is inviting the public to learn more about their city as they launch the Stephenville Municipal Government Citizens Academy.
This free, nine-week program is designed to give residents a behind-thescenes look at how local government operates.
Participants will hear directly from each city department, explore facilities and engage with city staff to better understand the services and operations that impact daily life in Stephenville.
The sessions will be held from 6-9 p.m. every Thursday at City Hall beginning in September.
Space is limited to 15 residents and participants must be 18 years or older and reside within the city limits.

Comanche Museum to host Kid's Day/ Cunningham Family Reunion Day Aug. 2
All are cordially Iinvited to visit the Comanche County Museum for Kid's Day / Cunningham Family Reunion Day from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2.
The museum is excited to have Lynette Livingston as a storyteller of the Susannah Cunningham story, Deborah N. Keith will be the storyteller of “Chrysanthemum” and Ms. Granny will read the story of “A Child's History of Texas” and “A Tribute to Pioneer Women” written by Missy Jones.
There will be arts and crafts for kids, and face painting by Michelle and Red Frasier. There will be a Civil War display in the T. O. Moore Cabin.

W.K Gordon Center to host movie night
Tarleton State University’s W.K. Gordon Museum and Research Center in Mingus will host the Shirley Temple classic “Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm” at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9.
In this adaptation of the beloved children's classic, Rebecca, after being rejected from a radio station audition, is taken to live with her aunt, who bans her from show business. This leaves her with a decision of what to do.

Pre-K, Kindergarten Registration July 30, 31
Registration for Dublin ISD students for Pre-K and Kindergarten will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 30 and Thursday, July 31 at the Dublin Elementary School. You will need birth certificate, shot record, social security card, proof of residency and proof of income (for pre-K).
