Stephenville Elks Lodge Fish Fry Saturday
The Stephenville Area Elks Lodge No.2834 is encouraging everyone to come have some delicious fish for its All-You-Can-Eat Fish Fry at 6 p.m. July 19.
For $15, participants get fish, fries, hush puppies and tea. The meal will start at 6 p.m. and last until they run out. The lodge is located at 1560 Hyman St. in Stephenville.
CTFAC hosts 'Under the July Sky'
Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council is currently hosting a new gallery exhibit 'Under the July Sky' by artist Jo Ann Schulze.
The exhibit will be open through July 31.
The gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and closed Sunday and Monday.
Admission is free and the gallery is located at 148 West College St. in downtown Stephenville.
ECGS to host gravestone art talk Saturday, July 19
Erath County Genealogical Society welcomes all to attend Saturday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dublin Public Library.
Author Bronwyn Bowen will speak on 'Cemetery Talk: Symbolism of Gravestone Art'.
Gorman VFD to host fajita fundraiser this Saturday Gorman Volunteer Fire Department will host a fajita fundraiser at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 19 at the Iron Rose.
There will be takeout and delivery available for fajita plates by donation. There will also be a live and silent auction.
Funds will go towards finishing equipping Engine 52. Please come out and support the fire department!

Comanche Museum to host Kid's Day/Cunningham Family Reunion Day Aug. 2
All are cordially Iinvited to visit the Comanche County Museum for Kid's Day / Cunningham Family Reunion Day from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2.
The museum is excited to have Lynette Livingston as a storyteller of the Susannah Cunningham story, Deborah N. Keith will be the storyteller of “Crysanthemum” and Ms. Granny will read the story of “A Child's History of Texas” and “A Tribute to Pioneer Women” written by Missy Jones.
There will be arts and crafts for kids, and face painting by Michelle and Red Frasier. There will be a Civil War display in the T. O. Moore Cabin.

Miracle Treat Day set July 31
The Dublin Dairy Queen will be hosting its Miracle Treat Day in support of Cook Children’s Hospital from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 31.
Local firefighters and police officers will battle it out to see who can raise the most money for Cooks. PD support hour is 5-6 p.m. and Fire Support hour is 6-7 p.m.
$1 of each Blizzard sale, all day long goes to Cooks. There will also be a car and bike show at DQ.
