Proctor VFD Fish Fry June 7 

The Proctor Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual Fish Fry Fundraiser Saturday, June 7.

Serving begins at 5 p.m. with a live auction and raffle drawing at 7 p.m.

Raffle items include a John Deer Z333R Zero Turn z-Track Lawn Mower and Trailer (1 ticket for $20 or 3 for 3 for $50) or items for Palmetto State Armory or Anderson Manufacturing ($1 for $10 or 6 for $50). Contact any member for raffle items.

Carlton Cemetery Association to host meeting

The Carlton Cemetery Association will host its regular meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 7 under the pavilion at the cemetery. Coffee and donuts will be served starting at 8:30 a.m.

People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs in order to be comfortable.

Friends of Dick Smith Library to host Book Sale 

The Friends of Dick Smith Library will be hosting its annual Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 11 and Thursday, June 12.

The sale will be located in the MP Room of the Dick Smith Library located on Tarleton's Campus.

Parking is available in P34, P36 and P38 with a parking pass.

Free Meals for children 18 and under 
Dublin ISD will once again be offering free Summer Meals to those under 18 from through June 26.

Meals are available Monday through Thursday at the Dublin Intermediate School located at 609 N. Thomas.

Breakfast is served 7-8 a.m. and lunch is served from 11 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.

Free Computer Skills class at CWJC

Calvary Fellowship and CWJC are partnering together to offer a free computer literacy class from 10:30 a.m. to noon each Wednesday starting June 18.
The class will include basic computer skills, completion certificates and job readiness skills.

The class will be held at Calvary Fellowship located at 604 N. Patrick Street in Dublin.
All age adults are welcome to attend.

Women’s Self Defense Class set for June 24
Calvary Fellowship and CWJC are partnering together with Stone’s Combative Martial Arts to host a Women’s Self Defense Class at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 24 at Calvary Fellowship. The class is free but donations will be accepted.
Effective self-defense moves for real-life situations, how to improve awareness and avoid danger, confidence building techniques, and simple but powerful strategies for any skill level will be taught.
