Dear Editor,
We would like to thank the great people of Dublin for being there for our family during the recent loss of John Mark Underwood. Losing John Mark was sudden and very difficult for us all but having our Dublin family was very comforting. From Harrell Funeral Home, to the Patrick Street Church of Christ, to David Fritts, his wife Lisa and David Mulloy, who hosted a great lunch for us to gather after the service, we want to say a HUGE thank you.
John Mark loved Dublin, TX. He had a lot of pride in his heart from growing up in Dublin and being a Dublin Lion. I moved out of Dublin in 1997 but when I’m asked where I am from my answer is always the same, ‘I live in Austin, TX but I am from Dublin (TX)’. I always look forward to coming home to see the friends I have had for so long. The great memories we have will always remain and no one can ever take them away from us. We love you all and appreciate the support. Growing up in Dubin was an experience like no other for us. May God bless you and be with you and thank you for being there for the Underwood Family.
