Summer Reading Club is officially underway with reading logs available to pick up for both kids and adults.Readers can log books they read in the summer months and turn in the list by July 19 for chances to win great prizes and the opportunity to claim free books.

Over the weekend, a friend and I went to see “Furiosa,” the prequel to “Mad Max: Fury Road.” My short review is the movie impressed me by being very different to “Fury Road” while having entertaining characters, a well-developed sci-fi world and some exciting action set pieces.
