With a heavy heart I write today. Our nation lies in turmoil. I don’t think we have seen this level of division in our country since the Civil War. But then, I believe that the evidence shows that those who are pushing for and, yes, even demanding that we turn to socialism have designed it this way. Stirring up racial issues, political division and the destruction of the Biblical family unit are all tactics used to pave the way for such indoctrination.
We who grew up in the 1950’s through the 1980’s are horrified by the threat of our beloved nation turning to this political lie. We have witnessed the totalitarianism that is required to make socialism work. No nation that has succumbed to socialism has been able to make it work and all have fallen to political dictatorship and citizen enslavement. Show me one nation where it has been successful long term. There aren’t any. The generations of today have not witnessed, for the most part, what it does to a nation and can’t seem to understand. And that is how those who promote it are seemingly pulling it off.
While these things that are unfolding daily at this time in history are tragic, and more deceptive and underlying things are secretly taking place, it goes beyond politics, beyond the control of nations, regardless who is president, what party has control or what terrorist groups are doing. It falls right back to the prophecies of the Bible. What we are seeing is the devil-inspired regime; the anti-trinity of Satan slowly (and at times rapidly) gaining more and more momentum. The hearts of the people are being plowed, fertilized and made ready for the anti-regime - Satan, his anti-christ, and his false prophet - to announce their arrival and suddenly take over, not only rulership of our country, but more broadly, that of the entire world.
As we argue and banter back and forth, behind our backs and behind the scenes, he is taking over. And soon, I am afraid it will be inevitable. He will take power and all we can do is get ourselves right with God before it is too late. This isn’t merely a political uprising but the end-time prophecies we have heard about for so long. The Bible has always been true and always will be true. We will wake up one morning to find that someone has found the answer to restore peace and bring the world together, and he will be the anti-christ. Because of the turmoil, the fainting of hearts, the indecision of how to resolve the everincreasing unrest, when he shows up with the plan that seems to finally bring us together, he will be readily accepted and the world will simply hand over the leadership and the inescapable trap will have been sprung.
There is only one answer, one solution to escape the impending doom - The true Christ, the Son of the Living God, Jesus Christ. He will show up one day and bring real peace to our world, but until that day arrives, we can have peace now. We can find personal peace with God. It cannot be purchased. It cannot be negotiated. It will only come in surrendering our lives to the true Lord and Master. He will give us peace in our souls despite the horrible tragedies and circumstances going on around us. He will give us the spiritual fortitude we must have to recognize the real enemy and the spiritual armor and weapons to stop the attack in our own lives. Again, it goes deeper than political agendas, left or right wings and terrorism.
To have this peace requires one thing. We must accept Jesus as our Savior. He only can bring peace, one person at a time, in the midst of these tragic events. It comes down to a choice. We each have to make it for ourselves. He will not force it on anyone. As I said, it is a choice we each must make.
So, what is your choice? Will you continue to wallow in the trouble of our times? Will you fret over politics and fight over who is right and who is wrong? Because when it all comes to an end, we are all wrong. Give it up to the One Who really does have the answers. He’s the only one. He is the way out of our mess.
