Wyndi Veigel and Paul Gaudette are pleased to announce their engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Sharon Hiett and granddaughter of Laverne Hiett, of Borger.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Norm and Sandy Gaudette of Dublin.
Miss Veigel is a 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce with a degree in journalism. She is the current content editor for
and has previously worked for newspapers in Farmersville, Princeton, Marshall and Hamilton.
Mr. Gaudette is a 2007 graduate of Tarleton State University with a degree in English Literature and communications journalism.
He is the current managing editor for The Dublin Citizen and has worked for the paper for 15 years, starting as a staff writer.
The couple originally met at a social media class hosted by the Texas Center of Community Journalism at Texas Christian University, now at Tarleton State University.
An October wedding is planned at First Methodist Church of Dublin.
