A February of Growth!

As we move toward the close of the fourth six weeks, there is much to celebrate at Dublin Intermediate School. Our students continue to show strong academic growth, and even more progress is ahead as we finish the school year with purpose and excitement.

Last week, Dublin Intermediate School was named an Honor Roll campus by Educational Results Partnership for the 2025 school year. This marks the second consecutive year our campus has earned this recognition, which is based on consistently high academic achievement and significant progress in closing achievement gaps. This honor reflects the collective efforts of our students, teachers, staff, and families, all working together toward the shared goal of student success. We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment and grateful for the dedication behind it.

Campus life has been equally busy and joyful. Our House of Fidus, the blue house representing loyalty, earned the six weeks House Party and will celebrate with a pizza party in the gym next week. Their hard work and positive spirit truly exemplify our campus culture.

Students across grade levels have participated in Writing Extravaganzas, providing valuable writing samples that help teachers monitor growth and ensure learning goals are being met throughout the year. In addition, students who earned the Big Kahuna party bus reward will enjoy a trip to CiCi’s Pizza this week—complete with food, fun, and a dance party along the way.

Academic support remains a priority, with tutorials in full swing to address learning gaps and prepare students for success at the next grade level. Our teachers are thoughtfully planning individualized lessons while also preparing for end-of-year activities, including field trips. Families can expect more information coming home next month.

Looking ahead, we are excited to share that our 6th Grade Beginner Band will compete in Clyde on May 1, marking their very first band competition—an exciting milestone for our young musicians. Additionally, our annual Track Meet and PTO Field Day is scheduled for May 15, and we look forward to a fun-filled day celebrating our students.

Thank you to our families and community for your continued support of Dublin Intermediate School. Together, we are growing, achieving, and building a bright future for our students.
