Dublin Public Library is offering several programs for adults and kids this week.

On Wednesday, April 24 at 5 p.m., patrons can learn about online banking with material prepared by Abigail Cabanas, the library’s Community Connect Program Facilitator.

This program is held in partnership with a financial literacy grant from the ALA and Every Kid Healthy Week. The library will also be hosting a family game night featuring Payday in honor of the partnership on Friday.

On Thursday, April 25 at 4 p.m., Paluxy River Child Advocacy Center will lead an internet safety class for adults, teaching tips in keeping the whole family safer while online. Games and movies will be set up for kids during the class. Free food will be available.

Tarrant Area Food Bank is also set to host classes in gardening for health on May 2 and 9 at 9:30 a.m. Those interested need to text 254938-8177 to pre-register.

The weekly Toddler time for children 6 months to 24 months is held Thursdays at 10 a.m.

Both book clubs are jumping into their April selections. The Saturday book club is reading “The Heiress” by Rachel Hawkins and will be meeting at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 27 to discuss the book.

The Crimes and Clues Book Club is reading “My Best Friend’s Exorcism” by Grady Hendrix. They will discuss it at 6 p.m. Friday, May 3.

Anyone is welcome to join the book clubs.

The Library is located at 206 W. Blackjack. Is is open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays.
