■ Texas Writes! - 10 a.m.
- The Writers’ League of Texas and the Tocker Foundation are sponsoring an informative and enlightening morning of writing instruction and discussion. Presentations include “Criminal Minds: The Elements of Crime Writing” with Kathleen Kent and “Writing Our Lives: The Art of the Personal Essay” with Diana Spechler. The event is free to the public and includes refreshments. Seating is limited.
