Library Log

Body

The world of today is very different than the world of 50 years ago. While every family no doubt has precious keepsakes and photographs, it can be beneficial to have digital copies to share with family or in archiving your family’s history.

To assist with this endeavor, the Erath County Genealogy Society is hosting a scan day to help those needing preserve these moments digitally.

ECGS hosting Scan Day Saturday

Erath County Genealogical Society invites you to Dublin Public Library SCAN DAY on Saturday, March 18 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Drop off / pickup photos and documents (no larger than letter size 8 ½ x 11”).

Include a flash drive to receive scans, or one will be provided for a $5 donation.

Depending on popularity, quantity of photos processed may be limited.

For images of historical or genealogical significance, permission is requested to retain a copy for the library collection.

Examples of historically related photos include a building no longer in existence; activities of civic and social organizations; people, places, and things from 50 years ago.

Share your favorite photographic image with a digital copy! Direct questions to Sheryl Rascher ecgs. dpl@gmail.com (817) 680- 5691.
