A world of unlimited adventures and awesome prizes await as Dublin Public Library hosts the Oceans of Possibility Summer Reading Program.

Library patrons are able to pick up reading logs and fill them up with books they read over the summer for a chance to win prizes. Reading logs will be due June 30 as Dublin Lions Club serves up free hot dogs and drinks at 11:30 a.m.

A free book fair is also being held in conjunction with the summer reading program. Readers will get access to free books when turning in a reading log.

Prizes this year include six tickets to a Rangers game donated by First National Bank, a Nintendo Switch, Apple Airpods Pro, EZ Roller Classic Ride-on, a hover sphere, a planetary splash pad, a tortilla blanket and a karaoke microphone.

The summer’s possibilities will also include live experiences with the return of the creature teacher and her exotic animals on June 2 at 10 a.m., a magic show at 10 a.m. on June 9 and a presentation about Africa from Elizabeth Kahura at 4 p.m. on June 9.

A local author showcase (see graphic) will coincide with June 11 activities as local writers will be present on the library lawn at 10 a.m. Authors scheduled to be present include: Laura Conner Kestner, Lori Altebaumer, Marion Surles, Cliff Sims, Elaine Fields Smith, Ben Pate, Mac McKinnon, S u z a n n Thompson, Deborah Swanson, James Pylant and Jeremy and Erynn Sprouse.

The community is also invited to a free outdoor movie on the library lawn as “Encanto” will start screening at sunset.

The summer reading program will also include the return of the popular ‘Take and Make’ craft kits available every Tuesday with the following schedule:

■ June 7: Ocean Magic

■ June 14: The Deep Blue Sea

■ June 21: Ocean Floor

■ June 28: Tide pools

■ July 5: Sea Turtles

■ July 12: Rainbow Fish

■ July 19: Marine Mammals

■ July 26: Sharks

■ Aug. 9: Butterfly Symmetry

■ Aug. 16: Butterfly Metamorphosis

■ Aug. 21: Butterfly Tessellations

■ Aug. 28: Butterfly Decalcomania
