Dear Editor:

I was sitting on my lawn chairs in the shade. A woman came walking by, didn’t see me, let her dog walk into my front yard, do his business.

She didn’t pick it up and kept walking down the street. She’s not the only one who’s done it.

There are two or three that regularly come by. On the weekends, people turn their dogs loose. A dog won’t mess up its own yard unless its made to. Invariably, they hunt for other people’s yards and do their business.

I’m tired of it and I think something should be done.

I’ve had dogs and I’m not a dog hater, but it’s just a fact that people should clean up after their own animals.
