Dear Editor,
(Editor’s note: the following poem was sent as a reaction to the snow that fell on New Year’s Eve.)
There was a blanket of snow on New Years Day.
Which allowed the folks to go out and play.
They romped and they rolled,
Even though it was cold.
Forgetting the fuss and the fray.
It started the year in just the right way.
