Dublin High School would like to send a heart-felt apology to Miss NavaLee White and her mom, Mrs. Rodriguez, for the unfortunate mishap at our Homecoming Ceremony on Friday, September 20th. We sincerely apologize for not ensuring your biographical information was present when nominees were presented. We care very deeply about our students, and we would never want to be the cause for any of our students to feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. Hobbies: Reading, writing or journaling, listening to music, playing crosswords, hanging out with my Nana, riding horses with Colt, and watching classic movies with my mom.
Plans for the Future: Undecided, but I am embracing the uncertainty in that many times the title of the chapter doesn’t come till the end.
People you would like to thank: I’d like to thank my FFA advisors, Sophie Hayhurst, Derek Dunlap, and Darren Price, for allowing me to grow and find community within my school, Mr. Duke who always believed in me and found my talent, my nana who’s always made me feel seen even when times were hard, JJ who is the rock of our family, my ma who loves me unconditionally and has made me into all the good I am, and ever will be, and most especially my pepa who cannot be here today, but is with me in spirit always, and acts as the laugh in.
