As we move into one of the busiest times of the school year, we want to take a moment to say thank you. Families, thank you for sharing your children with us each and every day. It is truly a privilege to teach, guide, and watch them grow. Your continued support at home and involvement at school make a tremendous difference in their success.
We have many important events and reminders coming up, so please mark your calendars!
Our Big Kahuna Fundraiser will wrap up on February 24. We appreciate your encouragement and participation in helping make this fundraiser a success for our campus. Every contribution helps support opportunities for our students.
We are especially excited about our upcoming Writing Extravaganza on March 10, where our 2nd and 3rd graders will showcase their incredible writing skills. We are proud of the hard work, creativity, and attention to detail our students have been demonstrating. This “time to shine” will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their growth as young authors.
Our amazing PTO is also planning a fun-filled evening for families! Join us on March 5 for Dancing in the Dark: Glow Edition. This promises to be a fantastic, high-energy event full of fun and glowing excitement. We hope to see all of our Dublin Elementary families there for an evening of laughter and memories.
Looking ahead, our 3rd Grade Reading STAAR test will take place the week of April 7–10, and the 3rd Grade Math STAAR test will be the week of April 21–24. These are very important weeks for our students. We encourage families to help students get plenty of rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and arrive at school on time. Your encouragement and support help build their confidence and set them up for success.
Finally, Spring Break will take place March 16–20. We hope our students enjoy this welldeserved time off—getting fresh air, playing outside, relaxing, and spending quality time with family and friends.
