We Give Thanks for You

As you enjoy your family and friends this Thanksgiving season, please know that we are thankful for you. We see your contributions, when you gather downtown to put up decorations; when you host a fundraiser for someone in need; when you visit folks in the nursing homes; when you volunteer in the local museums; when you work the concession stands at the many athletic events; and when you send our kids home inspired after a long day at school. We notice, and we thank you.

As a Chamber of Commerce, our job is to help our local businesses make more money. You make that easier by making this community an amazing place to live, shop and work. Thank you.

Get Your Photo Taken With Santa on December 4

You, your children and your four-legged friends will have your first chance to get your photo taken with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 1:30 p.m. Santa has agreed to visit the Dublin Chamber of Commerce at 110 S. Patrick early this year, to allow you to get that family picture for your Christmas cards.

If you wish, you may purchase a 4” x 6” photo or have the digital image emailed to you. Each printed photo will cost $10 and each emailed or texted digital image will cost $2, with the proceeds going to the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. Please feel free to take your own photos, as well.

Sell Your Items Downtown During the Dublin Country Christmas Stroll

Do you make pocket purses for cell phones, wall art or other handicrafts? Do you have a business you would like to show off to Dublin visitors? Do you want your items exposed to hundreds of people in a four hour period, just before Christmas? Join us downtown from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 9 for the Dublin Country Christmas Stroll.

If you would like to set up a table and sell your wares, contact the Dublin Chamber at 254/300-6263. We will let you know where you may set up your booth, at no cost to you!

Sign up for the Lighted Christmas Parade

It won’t be a parade if you’re not in it! Join us for a 5:15 line up and 6:00 p.m. start to this year’s lighted Christmas parade. Contact the Chamber office for registration forms. Let’s make this event as big as it was in previous years, before Covid took its toll on the region!

Get Your Santa Photo at the Dublin Country Christmas Stroll December 9

Santa Claus is coming to town a SECOND time on Dec. 9. After the parade concludes, join the crowds and line up to take your photos with Santa. Again, photos will be available to purchase at $10 for a 4”x6”, and $2 per emailed or texted image. Plan to spend some time downtown shopping and snacking, there should be plenty of options.

Enter the Christmas Decorating Contest

Again this year, the Chamber of Commerce will award prizes for the best Christmas decorations in three categories: homes, businesses and nonprofit organizations. An additional “People’s Choice” prize will be awarded based on Facebook votes of photos submitted to the Chamber for entry. Please enter by Monday, December 6. Winners will be announced at the Dublin Country Christmas Stroll Dec. 9.

Look for more details in the coming weeks about this year’s Dublin Country Christmas Stroll.
