Market Days returns Nov. 21

Dublin Market Days will set up in Wright Park, Nov. 21, 9 a.m. ’til 1 p.m. You’ve got much to think about this Thanksgiving. Let the local freelance bakers help ease your mind about holiday cooking. There will be a variety of scrumptious breads, pies, conserves and other goodies. The Dublin market attracts vendors from a broader and broader area. Also, ’tis the season to think about gift-giving. There will be one more Dublin Market in December, but who knows what the weather will be like then. So plan to shop the unique, the fun, the ideal items to be found in Wright Park, Nov. 21, 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Lingleville serving community Thanksgiving

The Lingleville Community Thanksgiving supper will be Wednesday Nov.18 at 6 p.m. at Lingleville Baptist Church. All food will be provided. So no one will need to bring anything.

The Lingleville senior project auction will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. in the school gym.

Comanche Historical Museum hosting take-out fundraiser

The Comanche County Historical Museum will try a new fundraiser for this era. Sunday, November 15, the Museum will host a take out lunch consisting of Turkey, Ham, Cornbread Dressing, Cranberry Sauce, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Green Bean Casserole, Rolls, and Dessert. The drive-in line opens at noon and ends at 2 p.m. The Museum is located at 402 Moorman Road west of Bayer GMC. Tickets will be sold by Friends of the Museum and Board Members for $12 each and can be purchased that day at the Museum. Each purchased ticket gets entered in a drawing for door prizes including a 40-inch High Definition Smart TV.

The Museum County Historical Society and Museum, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and operates solely on the generous donations of visitors.
