The Dublin Lions conquered Cross Plains 68-48 in a Tuesday, Nov. 19 home game on the Neff Gym floor.
“It took us 16 min to remember how to play basketball and together as a team but we came back and put on a show defensively and offensively,” said head Dublin boys basketball coach Wes Grisham.
Grisham called out several players for their performance in the win including sophomore Jayden Deleon who he called “a dangerous weapon in our arsenal.” Deleon was returning from an injury and put in 8 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 steals. Grisham said he racked up these stats with a fairly limited play time and with a level head even as Cross Plains was leading by 20.

Kaden Gaitan followed with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, 6 assists and a charge. Hunter Jones also put in 14 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks, a steal and a charge.
