Dublin Lion and Lady Lion powerlifters tested their mettle in the Breckenridge Invitational Powerlifting Meet Thursday, Feb. 1.
Lions placing high at the event were:
■ Gonzalo Ortiz, 1st in the 114 weight class with a total of 655 pounds, 225 squat, 160 bench and 270 dead lift
■ Cameron Patton, 1st in the 132 with a total of 1,085 pounds, 410 squat, 295 bench and 380 dead lift
■ Elijah Gonzales, 3rd in the 165 with a total of 1,255 pounds, 500 squat, 285 bench and 470 dead lift
■ Jovani Cervantes, 4th in the 181 with a total of 1,200 pounds, 470 squat,265 bench and 465 dead lift
