BROWNWOOD

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 85-86 degrees; 7.89 feet below pool. Black bass to 5.75 pounds are fair on jigs, shaky heads, crankbaits and frogs in 2-15 feet of water. Crappie are slow in brush piles and around docks on minnows in 12-16 feet of water. White bass are slow to 1.00 pound under the lights and schooling using jigs and small moving baits. Catfish are fair to 5 pounds on jug lines using prepared and cut bait

FAIR. Water lightly stained; 81-86 degrees; 1.30 feet below pool. Granbury fishing continues to be good to excellent for striped bass to 10 pounds on live bait from Decordova to Blue Water Shores. Some topwater action is reported near Striper Alley on shallow banks. Largemouth bass numbers continue to be good with an occasional bigger fish to six pounds possible. Spinnerbaits and crankbaits are good early in the morning, then switch to soft plastics later to catch largemouth bass. Blue and yellow catfish are good to 25 pounds fishing cut shad on the upper ends. Crappie numbers continue to be good fishing small minnows and jigs on midlake structures. White bass numbers are improving with fish schooling near Indian Harbor and Decordova.

POSSUM KINGDOM

FAIR. Water clear; 82-86 degrees; 2.45 feet below pool. Striper are good with live bait. Fish are scattered in small schools in 20-40 ft of water. Do not be afraid to spend some time looking for fish before stopping to fish. Sand bass are fair. Small live bait and small slabs are the ideal bait of choice in 15-30 feet of water. Catfish are good fishing on the bottom or close to it with small cut or live shad in 6-15 feet of water. Water clarity is staying steady at 5-15 feet of visibility.

PROCTOR

FAIR. Water stained; 82 degrees; 13.17 feet below pool. All ramps are closed due to low lake levels.

WEATHERFORD

SLOW. Water stained; 85 degrees; 8.92 feet below pool. Crappie fishing has picked up to fair in 15 feet of water on rocks and brush piles with minnows or jigs. Catfish are slow to fair with a few catches on the rocks near the dam. Bass are slow in deeper water.

WHITNEY

GREAT. Water lightly stained; 85 degrees; 7.91 feet below pool. Whitney striped bass limits continue on live bait fished in 30 feet of water from Mccown Valley to the Island. Striped bass are schooling on top near the Whitney State Park on occasion.
