GRANBURY

Body

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 80-84 degrees; 4.58 feet below pool. Black bass to 7.23 pounds are fair on soft plastic worms in 5-18 feet of water. Crappie are fair in brush piles in 8-15 feet of water on jigs, and on minnows around the docks. White bass are fair to 1.00 pounds in the lights on crankbaits, jigs and minnows. Catfish are fair to eight pounds on cut gizzard shad or jigs fishing near the State Park.

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 84 degrees; 1.32 feet below pool. The thermocline is around 15 -20 feet this past week. Striped bass and sand bass are on humps and ridges from Decordova Subdivision to the dam. Striped bass to 12 pounds are best on live bait. Sand bass are fair to good on slabs and trolling. Largemouth bass numbers are good on topwater lures and crankbaits early in the day, then soft plastics later near shaded areas. Catfish are good on cut bait preferably at night. Crappie are good to excellent on small minnows or jigs fished near bridge pilings and standing timber on many areas of the lake.

POSSUM

KINGDOM

GOOD. Water clear; 80-84 degrees; 0.34 feet below pool. Striped bass are good in 20-40 feet of water with the best bite on live bait, but some catches on white and chartreuse downriggers. Sand bass are fair using small live shad or white and bone topwaters. Topwater bite is scattered at best and extremely unpredictable. Look for fish in 20-40 feet of water. Catfish are good fishing cut shad off bottom near the mouth of the river in 2-15 feet of water. Navigate with caution watching for floating debris. Water clarity is 4-15 feet.

PROCTOR

SLOW. Water stained; 80 degrees; 8.49 feet below pool. Sand bass and catfish fishing is excellent near the island. Report by Michael Acosta, Unfair Advantage Charters.

WEATHERFORD

SLOW. Water stained; 84 degrees; 6.86 feet below pool. Catfish are good, spawning on shallow rocks with cut bait. Bass are slow on points with Texas or Carolina rigs and worms. Crappie are fair on deeper main lake brush piles.

WHITNEY

GREAT. Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 4.57 feet below pool. Striped bass limits continue on live bait and down rigging jigs mid-lake to the dam.
