Body

SLOW. Water slightly stained; 81-83 degrees; 7.11 feet low. Bass are good to 8.57 pounds on crankbaits around docks with brush 12-20 feet of water and on shaky heads and jigs. Crappie to 1.25 pounds are fair on minnows suspended under docks. White bass good on crankbaits and jigs under the lights. Catfish are poor.

FAIR. Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 1.92 feet low. Granbury striped bass are slow. They can be caught trolling umbrella-rigs with white or chartreuse grub tails, trolling deep diving crankbaits but live shad seems to work the best drifting shallow flats on the south end of the lake. GOOD. Water lightly stained; 82 degrees; 3.75 feet low. Striped bass are fishing great in 20-30 feet of water trolling jigs and spoons in chartreuse and pink colors. Sand bass are good on small slabs in chartreuse and white fished in 26-30 feet of water. Catfish are good on small pieces of cut shad fished in 20-28 feet of water. The clarity is 3-6 feet. SLOW. Water lightly stained; 84 degrees; 7.33 feet low. Crappie fishing has improved to fair with catches in the main lake on brush with live minnows. Catfish are fair with cut bait and shad off rocks and main lake points. White bass are slow on slabs. Bass are slow off main lake points and rocks with crankbaits and worms.

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 6.99 feet low. Striped bass are good trolling umbrella-rigs with white or chartreuse grub tails or swim baits attached throughout the reservoir in 12-40 feet of water. Live minnows are working as well, but fresh live shad is still prefered. Top water lures work as well, if you can find the fish schooling, but the stripers don’t stay up long and are moving fast.
