BROWNWOOD
GOOD. Water slightly stained; 84-87 degrees; 4.61 feet low. Bass fair to good with catches up to eight pounds on shaky heads, crankbaits and jigs in the stick ups and between docks. Topwater will work early and late in the day. Crappie are excellent with catches up to 1.75 pounds on minnows and jigs in 12-18 feet over brush piles and under docks. White bass are slow casting and trolling crankbaits. Catfish are good on cut bait, liver and perch.
GRANBURY
GOOD. Water lightly stained; 88 degrees; 1.34 feet low. Striped bass are good on live bait, crankbaits and jigging spoons early in the morning from mid lake south towards the dam on flats and near the shallow edge of the river channel. White bass are good on live bait, jigging spoons and Alabama rigs in 12-25 feet of water. Catfish are good on cut bait during the day in 15-40 feet of water. POSSUM KINGDOM
GOOD. Water lightly stained; 84 degrees; 1.99 feet low. Striped bass are slow due to holiday boat traffic. Still catching some fish with white and chartreuse jigs, large spoons and live bait. Sand bass are good on sandy points fished on or near the bottom using chartreuse and white slabs with the occasional bite on silver. Fished on or near the bottom. Catfish are picking back up using large cut shad off the bottom in shallow water. Water is slightly stained with visibility being 6-10 feet on the south end, and 2-4 feet on the north end. PROCTOR
GOOD. Water stained; 90 degrees; 4.56 feet low. Black bass are poor. Striped bass are fair on topwaters early in the morning on the west end. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are poor on trotlines and shad.
WEATHERFORD
FAIR. Water lightly stained; 87 degrees; 6.15 feet low. White bass are slow on slabs. Bass are fair with crankbaits and worms. Crappie are fair on main lake brush piles with minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair with cut and prepared bait.
WHITNEY
GOOD. Water lightly stained; 82 degrees; 5.22 feet low. Striped bass are great on live bait, crankbaits, swimbaits and jigging spoons from mid lake south towards the dam on flats and near the shallow edge of the river channel. White bass are good on live bait, jigging spoons and Alabama rigs. Look for schooling fish then anchor outside of them and cast into them.
