Faith Knights honored

The Stephenville Faith Knights varsity basketball team was recognized by Erath County Commissioner’s court this morning for their outstanding efforts in the 2024 Texas Association of Independent Athletic Organizations (TAIAO) State Tournament in San Antonio on March 1-2. The Knights entered the tournament the No. 1 seed from the North region after beating Westlake in the North Regional Tournament. The Knights made the state championship round but came up short to a tough Gloria Deo Academy team and walked away as State Runner up. Four Knights made the North All-Star team: Channing Wescott (senior), Charlsey Cole (junior), TyAnn Yeary (junior), and Esmarelda Cervantes (junior).
