Dublin Jr. High ended its cross country season with several runners taking home hardware and improving times at the district meet Wednesday, Oct. 8 at Dublin Secondary School.
Head Dublin cross country coach confirmed many of the runners set personal records at the meet.
“Our JH runners stepped up tremendously from all their hard work,” Grisham said. “[Dublin High School’s] future looks very promising if they stay with it!”
Leading the pack was 8th grader Amilliana Torres who clocked a staggering 12:33 in the 3200m with second place following 47 seconds later at 13:19. The 8th grade Dublin girls took second as a team with the assistance of Remi Chapman in 3rd place with 13:43 and Chloe Goodrick in 5th with 14:01.

The 8th grade boys took 3rd place in the boys 3200m with Jaxon Salinas leading with a 4th place finish of 12:52. Other times included:
