Dublin receiver Jacob Stanley and kicker Gabriel Renteria earned spots on the Abilene Reporter-News All-Big-Country Super Team this year.

Stanley caught for 1,181 yards and 15 TDs this season, earning him a place on the first team, which includes players from all-size schools across the area.

Renteria averaged 38.4 yards on 30 punts, including five inside the 20 yard line.

Among class 3A Bob Cervetto was named coach of the year. The publication credited his power of encouragement with the last-second comeback win over Tolar in the district opener.

Cy Wing was unanimously named the first-team QB, passing for 2,108 yards and carrying for another 622 yards.

Jared Ricks made the second team as a linebacker. He made 123 tackles.

Renteria was given honorable mention as a kicker, and Kevin Cervantes was named honorable mention linebacker.
