12 run, jump to Region

Dublin will send 12 athletes to Regionals after they placed in the top four at the Area track meet in Jim Ned on April 17.

Blake Porter took second in the high jump, clearing six feet.

Tyler Harrell was second in the long jump, clearing 20 feet and 5.5 inches.

Harrell also took second in the triple jump, clearing 43 feet and 1 inch.

Channah Moore, Rianna Turner, Jasmin Rojas and Marissa Torres were third in the 400-meter relay in 4:25.16.

Bryten Ballenger, Jordyn Ricks, Rojas and Kylie Olvera were fourth in the 200-meter relay in 1:53.71.

Jakob Seals was fourth in the 300-meter hurdles in 41.95 seconds.

Angel Ramirez, Porter, Seals and Casyn Ballenger placed fourth in the 400-meter relay in 3:36.55.

Porter, Harrell, Moore, Turner, Rojas, Torres, Bryten Ballenger, Ricks, Olvera, Seals, Ramirez and Casyn Ballenger will compete at the Regional Track meet on April 26 and 27 at Abilene Christian University.

Olvera placed fifth in the 200-meter dash in 28.03 seconds.

Hagen Huffman was fifth in the 100-meter dash in 11.77 seconds.

Alex Lopez was fifth in the 200-meter dash in 23.85 seconds.

Seals took fifth in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.8 seconds.

Camry Porter placed sixth in the 3,200 in 15:13.41, and Miriam Almazon was eighth in 15:53.23.

Lopez, Blake Porter, Huffman and Casyn Ballenger took sixth in the 200-meter relay in 1:34.93.

Olvera was seventh in the triple jump, clearing 32 feet and nine inches.

Bryten Ballenger, Ricks, Rojas and Olvera placed eighth in the 100-meter relay in 52.82 seconds.

Lopez, Huffman, Manuel DeLeon and Casyn Ballenger placed eighth in the 100-meter relay in 45.12 seconds.
