TRAWEEK

William "Bill" Burrell Traweek, 92, passed away on March 9, 2021 in Stephenville, TX.  

He was born on April 23, 1928 to his parents Albert and Sarah "Dovie" (Pounds) Traweek in Portales, NM. Bill graduated from high school and later Texas A&M University before joining the United States Navy. Bill married the love of his life, Joy. Bill was known for his avid love of golf. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and "Dovie" Traweek, his wife Joy Traweek, his son Tommy, his two brothers Bob and Leslie Traweek and his sister Betty. 

Bill is survived by his daughters, Debra Sabins, of Nacogdoches, TX, and Sheri Traweek of Redway, CA his son, Alan Traweek of Redway, CA, his brother and sister-in-law James and Sharon Traweek of Stephenville, TX, sister in law Dollie Kinsey of Morgan Mill, TX, Grandchildren Austin Traweek, Shane Traweek, Kathryn Alexander, and Joe Traweek, great-grandchildren Emily, Garrett, and Blakely Traweek and  numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. 

Visitation will be held on at Harrell Funeral Home on Sunday, March 14th from 4-6 pm.

Graveside Service will be held at the Dublin Live Oak Cemetery on Monday, 15th at 11 am.
