The Dublin Lions were stopped short by Peaster in a Dec. 19 home game that ended in a 72-26 win for the Greyhounds.
“It wasn’t how we hoped and we got good looks but we just couldn’t put the ball in the net,” said Dublin Lions head basketball coach Wes Grisham. “Only having 3 steals hurts our style of play.”
Conversely, Grisham said Peaster got 13 steals during the game and took rebounds aggressively.
Hunter Jones led scoring for Dublin with 7 points, 5 rebounds and a block.
Aiden Salyer had 6 points, 2 rebounds and a steal.
Alex Teten scored 5 points, 3 rebounds and an assist.
Aidan Hernandez grabbed 5 points, 5 rebounds and a steal.
Kaden Gaitan snagged 3 points, 3 rebounds 2 assists and a steal.
This followed a 68-45 loss to Keene on Dec. 12. Grisham said the Lions had a rough start with some missed shots but was playing equal with Keene by the second half.
Kyson Gilman led scoring for that game with 12 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals and a block.
Jones had 11 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks.
Teten had 9 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists. Gaitan had 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
