Those wanting to embrace the spirit of Christmas while enjoying a great ride on their motorcycles are invited to participate in this year’s Toy Ride.
This year’s ride is set for Saturday, Dec. 2 with registration starting at 2 p.m. at Red Barrel Bar and Grill.
Participation is $20 per car or bike along with a new unwrapped toy. Proceeds are benefitting the Double N Cowboy Church Angel Tree. Those who just wish to donate toys can drop them off either at Red Barrel starting at 2 p.m. or at the church starting at 3:30 p.m.
The “parade” will travel, along with the donated toys, from Red Barrel to Double N Cowboy Church, departing at 3 p.m.
Starting at 3:30 p.m. there will be a chili dinner for $10 per plate at the church.
“We are just trying to give back to the community,” Mike Pruitt, with Servant Souls and founder of the Rylan Strong Network, said. “We are also trying to change the negative stereotypes surrounding bikers.”
