Nov. 13
A caller had a puppy in her yard. The call was referred to Animal Control A blue truck was parked in front of a caller’s address in the 800 block of Courtney idling for awhile and then it was turned off. Reporting person has never seen the truck before. Officer made contact with the driver and he had pulled over to text someone.
Nov. 14
A male wearing a red beanie and jacket was pulling on the doors of a business in the 700 block of Patrick and then picked up a brick. Officers arrived on scene and did not locate any person with that description. A close patrol will be conducted.
Nov. 15
A white Dodge challenger was driving in the wrong side of the road on 377 South headed to Comanche. Dublin PD went to the area around the loop and did not locate that vehicle.
Nov. 16
A white PT Cruiser was reported broke down and has been abandoned for weeks on Grafton Street. Officer located the vehicle, it is legally parked and belongs to someone on that street.
A gas drive off was reported at Allsup’s in Dublin. Officer made contact with the individual and he did not realize that it didn’t get paid, and he went back to pay for it.
Nov. 17
A dark colored pickup was parked in front of a residence in the 300 block of North Grafton for several hours. Officer located who the truck belonged to and he stated that he was visiting his girlfriend and she had family over so he had to park elsewhere.
A caller at Big’s requested to make a report that over 700 gallons of diesel was stolen overnight.
There was a report of gunshots or fireworks heard behind the house in the 600 block of Ella. Officer observed the area and did not hear or locate any casings from firearms or any fireworks. A close patrol was conducted throughout the night.
A reporting person stated that a pizza delivery guy came and dropped off pizza at his house in the 500 block of Liveoak that he did not order. The caller took it to the right house next door and when he came back the delivery guy was in his house. Officers spoke with caller and then went to speak with the manager. No charges were pressed and the problem was resolved.
Nov. 18
There was a report of loud music at a house in the 200 block of North Grafton. Officer made scene and spoke with the homeowner and advised them to turn the music down.
An elderly female was looking for her husband at DQ and at the motel. An officer went to meet up with her and the husband showed up on scene.
Nov. 19
Officers spoke to a victim after an assault took place.
A reporting person advised that there were two males looking in his backyard and the neighbor’s yard in the 300 block of North Camden. Officer made contact with two young juveniles and they stated they were just walking down the road going back home.
