Body

GOOD. Water stained; 67-71 degrees; 8.34 feet below pool. Black bass to 4.20 pounds are fair on jigs, and crankbaits in 1-12 feet of water. Bait is moving into the cove pockets and the bass will soon follow for the feeding frenzy. Crappie are slow on brush piles and around the docks on minnows in 10-12 feet of water. White bass are slow to 1.06 pound on crankbaits and small jigs. Catfish are slow using prepared and cut bait.

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 65 degrees; 0.08 feet below pool. Granbury is full and clear on the lower end. Striped bass are good to 10 pounds from Decordova to the dam on live shad and trolled Alabama rigs. Sand bass are fair to good on slabs near main lake points from Blue Water Shores to Ports-O-Call, be sure to look for the birds. Large blue and yellow catfish are good to 30 pounds on cut bait fished on the upper ends. Largemouth bass to six pounds are possible near main lake points on topwaters or crankbaits early on soft plastics later in the morning. Some largemouth are schooling with the sand bass and striped bass on feeding flats.

POSSUM KINGDOM

FAIR. Water clear; 67-70 degrees; 1.79 feet below pool. Striper are good, using live bait is key. The fish are somewhat scattered do not be afraid to move around and look for them in 30-40 feet of water. Sand bass are fair with small live shad, and small jigs are all good bait. Some can also be caught trolling crankbaits in 30-40 feet of water. Chartreuse, and white are good colors. Catfish are good using small cut and live shad are both good baits and producing good numbers of fish in 5-20 feet of water. Water clarity is steady at 4-8 feet of visibility.

PROCTOR

FFAIR. Water stained; 60 degrees; 12.61 feet below pool. As the cold front roll through expect the rattletrap and crankbait bite to pick up for bass along deeper edges. Catfish can be caught on stinkbait. Hybrid and sand bass are schooling biting slabs. Crappie are hitting minnows around rock structures.

WEATHERFORD

SLOW. Water stained; 60 degrees; 7.39 feet below pool. Catfish are fair with a few catches on the rocks near the dam on cut bait or shad and juglines. Bass are slow on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and worms moving into the creeks. Crappie are fair with a few keepers in the crappie house. A few crappie are starting to move into the marinas.

WHITNEY

GREAT. Water lightly stained; 70 degrees; 1.35 feet below pool. Crappie are scattered while in the fall transition. A lot of fish can be found chasing bait in the main creek channels or in the backs of creeks. If you can find standing timber in these areas as well they will hold fish also. There are also fish holding in shallow brush, with a limit of fish in 4 feet of water. Find the bait then you will find the fish.
