Dublin Market showcases authors
Saturday is the Dublin Market in Wright Park. Featured: a showcase of local authors and their books! There are books for all ages, spanning a wide variety of genres. The authors are amazing people. And Market vendors will provide the unique goodies and crafts you need for Thanksgiving and beyond.

Elks to host Thanksgiving fundraiser
The Stephenville Area Elks Lodge No. 2834 will host a Thanksgiving Fundraiser dinner from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18 at the lodge in Stephenville, located at 1560 W. Hyman.
Main dishes include turkey and ham and side dishes include mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, corn, dressing, gravy and rolls. Dessert is also provided.
An adult plate is $15 and a kids plate is $10. Kids 2 and under eat free.
Stephenville to host downtown open house
Stephenville Downtown Merchants will be hosting a holiday open house from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17. The event includes shopping, refreshments and entertainment in downtown Stephenville.
Charity gingerbread house contest
Revitalize Dublin in conjunction with Grafton Market is hosting a Gingerbread House Charity Competition. First place prize is 50/50 cash and Revitalize Dublin gets 50% of the funds raised.
Pick up the registration form at Grafton Market and pay $25 to buy into the contest by Nov. 18. Drop off your finished Gingerbread House on or before Dec. 1.
Local Authors at Dublin Market
Thanksgiving Meal offered in Lingleville A community Thanksgiving meal will be hosted for Lingleville at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 at the Lingleville ISD Cafeteria.
Turkey, ham, dressing, gravy and drinks will be provided. Everyone who is attending is encouraged to bring a side and a dessert to share since a large turnout is expected.

Free Thanksgiving meal available
Calvary Fellowship of Dublin and “Feed my Sheep Ministries” wants the community to know that they are serving Thanksgiving Dinner to anyone who is in need. We will deliver on Thanksgiving day. RSVPs can be called in and must be received by Nov. 20. They are also accepting donations if anyone would like to help with the cost of meals. For more information, call 254 595 0278.
CTFAC to host new show at gallery
Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council is presenting a new show at its gallery, “The works of Opal Black & Students” Nov. 9 through Dec. 29.
The artist’s reception is Thursday, Nov. 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the CTFAC Gallery on the square.
The exhibit is open and free to everyone to view. The gallery is located at 148 West College Street in Stephenville.
