Oct. 8 After a domestic disturbance with a firearm on CR 319, Curtis Williams was placed under arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon family violence by Erath County Sheriff’s Deputy. Dublin PD assisted until ECSO could make the scene.
Oct. 9
A reporting person has questions about a solar panel company possibly harassing them and not doing what they are supposed to do.
An elderly couple stated someone broke into their truck and took government ID’s and documents.
A dispute between a mom and daughter took place, verbal only. No charges were pressed.
Oct. 11
Dublin ISD’s stolen property of a sheep stand was recovered.
There was a report of a disturbance where neighbors were yelling and throwing things around. Officers made the scene and parties advised it was just verbal.
A reporting person requested son and girlfriend gone after discovering they were doing drugs. A criminal trespass was also issued.
Oct. 12
A caller wanted to report the theft of a firearm and fishing poles after he let a person stay at his house. Person returned fishing poles but knew nothing about a firearm.
Family took some things from a house, other items were gifted in exchange of doing work around the property. The caller did receive a receipt from a pawn shop in Stephenville and thought maybe some of the items were pawned.
Oct. 13
An officer was needed at the school in reference to cyber bullying.
There was a report of a vehicle on Hwy. 377 heading into Dublin with a small unrestrained child in the backseat standing up. Officer made contact with the vehicle and the driver received a citation.
Oct. 14
A reporting person advised there was a male subject at Big’s gas station asking people for money and he was asked to leave the property for the same reason before. He was issued a criminal trespass.
A reporting person in the 200 block of Liberty advised they went outside and her house and vehicle were covered in eggs and mustard.
A suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of North Patrick had been sitting at the location for about 30 minutes. Officer made contact and driver advised there was a car accident at Edna Hill, he had some property of those involved and was trying to return it, just didn’t know where to go. Officer found out where the property needed to go and everything was OK.
