Trick or Treat map now underway
The Dublin Citizen and the Dublin Chamber of Commerce are partnering together for this year’s annual virtual costume contest.
All ages are welcome to participate including adults.
From Friday, Oct. 27 through Tuesday, Oct. 31 submit your photos of people in costume to composing@dublincitizen. com with their first name and ages.
First place winners will receive Dublin Dollars and second and third place winners will receive spooktacular prizes.
Local citizen Amanda Christman along with the Dublin Chamber and Revitalize Dublin are organizingatrick-or-treating map of local homes and businesses that will be handing out candy on Halloween night.

Trick-or-treating is expected to commence at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Deadline for the map is Wednesday, Oct. 25. The map will be published on Facebook and at Grafton Market.
Trunk-or-treat set for Halloween
The Stephenville Area Elks Lodge is also hosting its annual Trunk-or-Treat on Elm Street on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Dublin.
There is a $10 entry fee for those wishing to decorate their trunks which goes to support special needs kids in the area.
The event is free for those wanting to gather goodies from the decorated trunks. There will be a best trunk contest.
There will also be hamburgers and hotdogs for sale to aid the Elks Lodge and provide a bit of balance for those on a sugar high from all the candy.

Fundraiser on tap for Dancing for the Stars Team Lack and Team C2 (Kayla Conner and Darrell Curry) are hosting a joint fundraiser Thursday, Oct. 26 at Red Barrel Bar and Grill in the form of a costume contest.
The kids contest is from 4-6 p.m. and the adult contest is 7:30 - 11 p.m. Entriesare$10percontestant and it is a cash only event.
There will be cash prizes with the rest going to benefit Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
