Comanche Museum to host Kids Day
The Comanche County Historical Museum is excited to announce that they are hosting Kid’s Day at the Museum from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug.12.
Welcome to the Cunningham Family Reunion. Our theme this year is “Hunting Hidden Treasures and Interesting Artifacts”. Special guests will be the Central Texas Treasure Club of Brownwood and Ted Underwood, a friend of Hoppy Eubanks.
Everyone is welcome. The museum is grateful for your generous donations.

Blood Drive set in Comanche
A blood drive is scheduled at Comanche County Medical Center, 10201 TX-16, Comanche, on Wednesday, Aug.16, 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
There is a great need for blood donations, especially during summertime. The Hendrick blood mobile will be parked in the parking lot near Doctors Medical Center clinic that afternoon. No appointment is necessary.
Women’s Missionary Union to meet
The Women’s Missionary Union will be hosting a meeting each month on the second Thursday.
The meeting is held at noon at Community Baptist Church located at 505 West Mesquite Street.
WMU is a community-based women’s group.
CTFAC Gallery presents new show
The Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council will present ‘The Timeless Works of Mary Rush Waters’ from now through Aug. 26 at the CTFAC Gallery on the Square. The artist’s reception will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12. The gallery is located at 148 West College St. in Stephenville.
