Christian Women’s Job Corporation/ Transformation Pathway will begin their regular training program on Tuesday, August 22.

The classes will be each Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon and will be seminars on job readiness.

“We are so excited to share with you the training opportunity that was presented to us through the national CWJC,” Executive Director Juanita Brawley said. “Chris Rowley, our state representative, recently announced a newly-formed partnership with VeroSkills an education platform that provides individuals with accesstosoftwareengineering training and certification across the country. The participants accepted into the program were selected from various CWJC/CMJC sites.”

The participants, who will be mentored by engineers from top tech companies, will train remotely for an estimated six months, with a goal of being hired by companies that also partnership with VeroSkills.

“This coding training is an amazing opportunity for the participants, and once they are certified can lead to employment and careers that will be life-altering,” adde Brawley.
