A caller wanted to know if there is a time that people have to wait until they can start banging hammers on a construction site. The information was referred to code enforcement.
A reporting person advised the lights were on at Family Dollar but the door was locked. Officer went to make contact with someone at the store and they advised she was running late.
A caller requested an officer to speak about a legal problem.
A reporting person requested a phone call from an officer about a criminal trespass that was issued.
June 28
A reporting person requested to speak to an officer about someone buying a vehicle on a verbal agreement and selling it for $300. Reporting person came and got the vehicle with the key about six months ago.
There was a report of a male on a 3 wheel bike pulling a wagon having some trouble. Officer made the scene and was advised the chain fell off and they were trying to fix it.
June 29
A reporting person stated a man tried to get into the store in the 100 block of North Patrick and was staying around the caller’s car. The subject got into a red Ford and left the scene. An officer drove to the address to where the license plate came back but the vehicle was not there. The officer advised the reporting person was a known user for controlled substances and could have been under the influence of something.
There was a report of a truck parked in the middle of Highland/Harris unoccupied. Officer made the scene and advised the owners are driving around on scooters selling solar panels. The individuals were located and were advised they would need a city permit to go door-todoor
selling.
June 30 A group of people were walking around an abandoned blue house. Officers made contact with individuals. They were cutting through to go to Sonic.
July 1
There was a report of loud music in the 300 block of Harris. An officer arrived and observed the noise was not loud but did ask them to keep it down just a little.
July 2
An officer was out with a stranded motorist with a broke down vehicle.
