An officer helped return a 15-year-old runaway back home.

June 20

A reporting person advised there were dogs attacking sheep. The caller believed it was the neighbor’s dogs. An officer made contact with the neighbors and they informed them that the animals have been in their kennels and chained up during the night. The caller informed the officer if the dogs are caught on his property he would protect his livestock.

A reporting person wants to speak with an officer about a follow up investigation.

A reporting person came to the station to report a stolen bike.

June 21

An officer spoke with four adults at the City Park playing on the playground equipment and informed them of the curfew in the park for future reference.

There was a report of a reckless driver passing Camel Stop at a high rate of speed cutting people off.

There was a welfare check at the rest stop before the Comanche County line. They advised they were being followed and recorded by people in a dark gray van. Dublin PD responded to the area and did not located any vehicles at the rest stop.

A reporting person called in about a family member being intoxicated and not feeling safe. Officers made the scene and attempted to resolve the situation but the subject was aggressive and belligerent. Carlos Valtierra was arrested for Public Intoxication.

June 22

There was a report of two kids riding motorcycles on the sidewalk on North Patrick. An officer spoke with the reporting person and they advised that these are motorized bicycles and are going the speed of traffic. The reporting person had seen them multiple times coming from an address on Johnson Street. Officers will keep an eye out and conduct a stop if violating the laws.

A reporting person came to the station to get her phone back.

There was livestock out in the road in the 500 block of Dixie.

A reporting person advised his car was no longer on his property. An officer met with the caller and advised he had three bicycles stolen and drove his vehicle to get the bike back then walked it back to his house. The reporting person then remembered he had left his car over at the other residence.

An officer checked a vehicle going 86 in a 70 mph zone on Highway 377 North that was failing to maintain a lane. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle, but the vehicle failed to stop and sped up. ECSO and Stephenville were notified. Dublin PD terminated the pursuit before Stephenville due to losing sight of the vehicle.

June 25

A suspicious vehicle was reported in the 400 block Henry. A reporting person stated he took his dog outside and saw a vehicle stop and let someone out with lights off and kept turning the lights off driving down the street.

There were multiple vehicles at the park. An officer checked out with all vehicles and advised there was a curfew at the City Park.

There was a brown husky mix on Shamrock and East Church running loose and being aggressive towards anyone who got near it. An officer searched the area for the dog and did not locate it.
