FBC offers VBS July 10-12
First Baptist Church of Dublin will be hosting a ‘Stellar’ Vacation Bible School from July 10-12 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Family night will be Wednesday, July 12.

The VBS is open to ages 4 through completed 6th grade. The church is located at 220 E. Live Oak Street in Dublin.

Comanche Museum to host event
The Comanche County Museum is pleased to announce that Granny will be their guest at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 13.

Granny will read children’s stories and all families are welcome.

They are a Blue Star Museum. The Museum has souvenirs and children’s books for sale, including books about Texas. Come in and enjoy their cool museum. The museum is located at 402 Moorman Road in Comanche.

CTFAC presents Manners Camp

Cross Timbers Fine Arts Council will be hosting its annual Manners Camp from July 17-21 for students.

Join Instructor, Mrs. Kelijon Nance, for lessons on everything from modern table etiquette to proper correspondence.

Camp includes, the art of lovely manners classes for girls from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the art of being a gentleman from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Classes are open to boys and girls, ages 7-13.

The cost is $75 per child and there are limited scholarships available.

Dublin Market Days on horizon
Dublin Market Days comes up sooner in July than you expect. Mark your calendar: the Dublin Market runs Saturday, July 15, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Wright Park. Plan to get there early for the best selection of fresh local produce, fresh baked goods, and many sorts of jellies, pickles, and other treats. Organizations wishing to hold a fundraiser at the market are encouraged—let us know (dublinmarketdays@gmail. com). Come to Wright Park, Saturday, July 15, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
