GOOD. Water slightly stained; 76-80 degrees; 4.91 feet below pool. Black bass to 6.57 pounds are good on worms, crankbaits and shaky heads in 4-12 feet of water. Crappie are good in brush piles on jigs in 11-14 feet of water using minnows around the docks. White bass are fair to 1.00 pound in the lights with crankbaits, jigs and minnows. Catfish are fair to 5.00 pounds on cut gizzard shad near the flats using jugs.
GOOD. Water lightly stained; 77-82 degrees; 1.40 feet below pool. Striped bass to 15 pounds are possible on the lower ends on live bait. Crappie fishing is good on underwater brush piles and bridge pilings using jigs or small minnows. White bass fishing is fair on slabs and minnows in town near the Shores to Indian Harbor. Look for schools of sandies on flats in 10-15 feet of water. Largemouth bass continue to be good in numbers with an occasional fish to eight pounds. The topwater bite can be good near main lake points. Large blue and yellow catfish continue to be good on cut bait fished on the upper ends near channel breaks.
POSSUM KINGDOM
GOOD. Water clear; 76-80 degrees; 4.07 feet below pool. Striped bass are good on live bait, but can be caught trolling with white, chartreuse, or yellow artificials in 20-40 feet of water. The fish are scattered some after the increased boater traffic of the holiday weekend, but still catching good numbers. Sand bass are fair on small live bait and jigs in 10-30 feet of water. Fish are moving fast and not staying in one place long. Catfish are feeding where the water is coming into the lake. Catfish are biting good on cut and live shad fished on bottom in 10-20 feet of water. Water clarity is 3-14 feet depending on location.
PROCTOR

WEATHERFORD
SLOW. Water stained; 84 degrees; 6.52 feet below pool. Catfish are good, spawning on shallow rocks with cut bait. Bass are slow on points with crankbaits and worms. Crappie are slow on main lake brush piles.
WHITNEY
GREAT. Water lightly stained; 75-79 degrees; 4.67 feet below pool. Striped bass limits are common on live bait from the Island to Cedar Creek. Report by Michael Acosta, Unfair Advantage Charters. Lake Whitney striped bass can be caught throughout the reservoir on live shad, minnows and perch along the channel as well as Creek channel edges. They can also be caught casting swim baits as well as top water. Look for schooling fish on the surface.
