Time to register for Stampede
Dublin Lions Club is once again planning their annual Irish Stampede for the second Saturday in June.
This will be the 22nd annual run in celebration of Dairy Month set for June 10 at 7:30 a.m. for the 10K and 5K with a 2K to follow completion of the longer runs.
Cost to register is $25 until June 1 and $30 after that. This race begins on North Park alongside the Dublin Public Library. Race packets can be picked up on Friday night or on Saturday morning starting at 5:30 a.m. prior to the race.
For further race information contact steve@DublinInsuranceAgency.com Proceeds from race entries and sponsorships go toward funding various Lions Club projects including scholarships, the Lions Crippled Childrens’ Camp in Kerrville, and helping local groups and the Library’s summer reading program.
Carnival set at Walmart to aid CMN
There will be a carnival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 10 to help raise funds for the Children’s Medical Network.
There will be food, drinks, games and fun.
20 tickets are available for $10 and all money collected goes to CMN.
Chili Cook-off set for June 10
There will be a chili cookoff at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 10 in Celebration Park. Entry is $25 and benefits Transformation Pathways CWJC.
