Moo-La Fest is quickly approaching and the annual event to commemorate National Dairy Month has lots of people moo-ving to have some fun.
The event kicks off Thursday, June 1 with a carnival from 6-10 p.m. at the City Park with live music at 7:30 p.m. with Scott Kirby, Courtney Patton and Jason Eady.
On Friday, June 2 the carnival will be in full swing again from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and food, merchant and alcohol vendors on site from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. From 5-9 p.m. there will be a free mini golf tourney, Axe Throwing from 5-10 p.m. and tethered balloon rides from 6-10 p.m. (weather permitting).
On Saturday, June 3 there will be tethered balloon rides from 6-10 a.m., ‘Moo-ve it’ 5K, 10K and Fun Run at 8 a.m., carnival, food and merchant vendors from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., Rodeo Zone Motor Ponies from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Axe Throwing and Mini Golf Tournaments from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., mobile dairy classroom from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., mechanical bull from noon to 8 p.m., 92.1 Hank FM Kids Party Patrol from 4-6 p.m., Bah Ram You Mutton Bustin’ at 6 p.m., more tethered balloon rides from 6-10 p.m., and live music from Scott Kirby and Michael Martin Murphey kicking off at 7:30 p.m.
