The rescheduled Drug Awareness Program Bike Show and Clue Run hosted by the Stephenville Area Elks Lodge is this Saturday and everyone is invited to participate.

The event will kick off Saturday, May 27 at Celebration Park in downtown Dublin next to Dublin Bottling Works.

The event will include both a bike show and a clue run, which will cost $20 each for riders.

The clue run will allow bikers to travel to various places in Erath County and the surrounding area to hunt for clues.

“A lot of bikers want to ride, not just participate in a show so we thought we would give them that option,” organizer James Dunbar said.

Registration for the clue run will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the run will begin at 10 a.m.

The show will begin at 1 p.m. and is open to the public. There will also be vendors at the show. Bikers can register any time the day of the event after 10:30 a.m. and must be registered by 1 p.m. Awards will be presented around 4:30 p.m. or 5 p.m., depending on the judges.

As a former law enforcement officer, Dunbar is passionate about getting the word out about illegal drugs.

For those interested in preregistering in either the show or the ride, you can either email elksdap2834@gmail. com or text 405-496-2304, or simply show up the day of the event.
